01Who we are

This site is operated by Bless Jewel Studio, registered at [Registered address]. When this policy says “we”, “us” or “our”, it means that business. When it says “you”, it means anyone visiting the site or placing an order.

We are the controller of the personal data described below. Questions about any of it go to blessjewel3@gmail.com.

02What we collect

We collect three kinds of information, and no more than we need.

  • What you give us: name, email address, phone number, billing and delivery addresses, ring or chain size, engraving text, and anything you write in a message or enquiry.
  • What we record about an order: the pieces ordered, the metal and size chosen, order value, delivery method, and the outcome of the payment. We never see or store your full card number — that stays with our payment provider.
  • What is collected automatically: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and how you arrived at the site. This comes from cookies and similar technology, and is described below.

03Why we use it

  • To take, make and deliver your order, and to contact you about it.
  • To handle returns, resizing, repairs and aftercare — which is why order records outlive the order itself.
  • To answer enquiries you send us, and to keep a record of what was agreed.
  • To send marketing email, only where you have asked for it. Every message carries a one-click unsubscribe and unsubscribing never affects your order.
  • To keep the site secure, prevent fraudulent orders, and understand which pages are actually useful.
  • To meet tax, accounting and consumer-law obligations.

Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of a contract for order handling, consent for marketing and non-essential cookies, legal obligation for tax records, and legitimate interests for security and site improvement.

04Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. We do pass the minimum necessary to the services that make an order work:

  • Payment providers, who process the transaction and carry out fraud checks.
  • Couriers, who need a name, address and phone number to deliver and to obtain a signature.
  • Our email and hosting providers, who process data on our instructions only.
  • Professional advisers, or an authority, where the law requires it.

05Where your data goes

Some of these providers operate outside your country. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on the provider's standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard, and we keep a record of which providers those are.

06How long we keep it

  • Order and invoice records: for as long as tax and accounting law requires, typically seven years.
  • Aftercare records: for the working life of the piece, so a resize or repair can be traced back to the original order.
  • Enquiries that do not become orders: two years.
  • Marketing consent: until you withdraw it, then a suppression record so we do not contact you again by mistake.
  • Analytics data: aggregated or deleted within twenty-six months.

07Cookies and tracking

Essential cookies keep your bag and session working and cannot be switched off — without them the site does not function. Everything else, including analytics and any advertising measurement, runs only with your consent.

Your browser can block or clear cookies at any time. Blocking essential cookies will empty your bag between visits.

08Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to do any of the following, and we will respond within one month:

  • Give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct anything that is wrong.
  • Delete data we no longer have a reason to keep.
  • Restrict or object to a particular use, including profiling for marketing.
  • Send your data to another provider in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent, at any time, without affecting anything done before.

Write to blessjewel3@gmail.com to exercise any of these. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to your local data protection authority.

09Children

This site is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us personal information, tell us and we will remove it.

10Security

The site is served over TLS, payment data is handled by our payment provider rather than by us, and access to order records is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfect; if a breach ever affects your data we will tell you and the relevant authority within the time the law allows.

11Changes to this policy

We update this policy when what we do changes. The date at the top is the version in force. Material changes are notified by email to anyone who has asked to hear from us. This version: 12 September 2026.
